You are not connected to any matchmaking servers cs go

The CS:GO developers had been kept busy these past few weeks due to the multiple exploits that had sprung up recently. Valve had rolled out fixes one after the other to ensure that both the see through smoke and the wallhack exploits were taken care off before it could go viral among the community members. Yet somehow a user was able to bypass these recent fixes to once again recreate all the above-mentioned exploits while also allowing users to load custom weapon skins into the game.

As these exploits are made by modifying and replacing core game files it does not matter on which platform the user is playing CS:GO be it FACEIT, ESEA, or the official in-game matchmaking , the client-side exploits will be active and will mostly go undetected by the anti-cheat as no third party software are being used to inject something externally into the game.

Overwatch and Trust Factor are two of the measure Counter-Strike: Global Offensive introduced to the game to prevent the spread of cheating. Ironically cheaters are now abusing those two for their own ends. Afterwards they would be allowed to judge whether or not a player cheated or griefed in a match. But now cheaters have found a way to abuse the system.

They utilize a bot mass reporting innocent players, leading to those ending up in Overwatch instead of actual cheaters. It gets even worse as innocent players have been hit by bans as well. A single round of AFK is often enough to be counted as griefing, resulting in bans. As the occassional AFK is hard to avoid more and more innocent players are receiving griefing bans.

YouTuber Sparkles brought light to the issue as he interviewed a cheater in a video.
